Tchaikovsky in Florence

Guest directed by Natalia Harvey, the Melbourne Chamber Orchestra’s opening program of 2022 includes Victorian composer Ian Munro’s 2009 moving nocturne Black is the Night, inspired by the poetry of Judith Wright, and Tchaikovsky’s iconic Souvenir de Florence for string sextet.
